Wainwright House
Internships are an exciting way to gain professional job training and work experience. Internships at Wainwright House provide students with meaningful on-the-job training and experience working in a nonprofit organization.

Interns will receive training, and as their skill and understanding of the job responsibilities increases, they will be given greater responsibility and flexibility to define projects. Interns are expected to be highly motivated and able to work independently. Internships are non-paid positions. Specific internships are described below.

An internship at the Wainwright House is a prearranged, structured learning experience scheduled within a specific time frame. The experience must be relevant to the intern's academic and professional goals. An internship is performed under the direct supervision of Wainwright House staff. Internships, for the most part, are arranged individually.
